Dr Sue Baumann FRACP, PhD

Dr Sue Baumann is an Australian trained Neurologist . She practices in Northern NSW.
She completed her neurology training in Brisbane and Melbourne, and a neurophysiology fellowship at Austin Hospital. Dr Baumann holds a PhD in Motor Neurone Disorders from the University of Queensland. Her clinical interests include neuromuscular diseases, motor neurone disease, and migraine therapy with botulinum toxin. She provides specialised services in nerve conduction studies and electromyography.

Dr Tania Farrar FRACP, PhD

EEG Services
Dr Tania Farrar is a neurologist with subspecialty training in epilepsy. She completed her medical degree at the University of Notre Dame and an Epilepsy Fellowship at Westmead Hospital. Her clinical interests include complex epilepsy, EEG monitoring, and ketogenic therapy in refractory epilepsy. Dr Farrar is also a PhD candidate and a lecturer at the University of Notre Dame and the University of Sydney.

EEG Services
Dr Denise Chan is a paediatric neurologist and epileptologist at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick. Dr Chan is a Conjoint Lecturer at the UNSW Sydney. Areas of interest include drug refractory epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, neuroimaging analysis, and Tuberous Sclerosis Complex.
Dr John Lawson is a paediatric neurologist at Sydney Children’s Hospital and Randwick and Associate Senior Lecturer at the University of NSW. His clinical and research focus is on childhood epilepsy; including neuroimaging, social, and psychological effects.

Kane Curtis
SCIENTIST
Kane has worked as a Neuroscientist since 1991, building up his experience working
at major hospitals in Brisbane. Over the years, he has developed a strong foundation
in a variety of neuro-diagnostic procedures, with a particular emphasis on EEG in
recent years. His extensive career has seen him collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams, contribute to clinical research in neurophysiological techniques. Outside of
his professional life, Kane enjoys photography and is passionate about capturing the
beauty of nature. He finds relaxation and inspiration in rainforest walks, beach
drives, and picnics, often accompanied by his family.

Trisha
SCIENTIST
Trisha is a skilled neurophysiology scientist, having graduated in Biomedical
Sciences, Swinburne University Melbourne in 2024. With hands-on experience in
Electroencephalogram (EEG) testing and monitoring, she has developed a keen
interest in the clinical aspects of neuromuscular disorders, including Nerve
Conduction Studies and Electromyography (EMG). Outside of her work, Trisha
enjoys ice skating and salsa dancing, balancing her scientific career with creative
and active hobbies.

OFFICE MANAGER
Izzy is a committed manager, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the
practice. Known for her warm and caring nature, she is passionate about assisting
both the team and patients. With an Associate Degree in Business Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her
role. Izzy's love for swimming and water sports led her to embrace the coastal
lifestyle of the Tweed region, where she can enjoy the area's stunning natural
surroundings.
